Amanda Meli is an emotive, genre-blending singer-songwriter known for her powerful, haunting vocals and striking range. A true “song-first” artist, she delivers each performance with intention—whether soaring into the stratosphere or settling into intimate, tender moments that draw listeners in and hold them there.

A passionate advocate for the craft of songwriting, Amanda is the founder of the New England Singer-Songwriter Showcase & Competition, now entering its fourth year (formerly the Deep Roots Songwriting Showcase), and the co-founder and producer of the Singer-Songwriter Series at Workshop13, entering its second year. She also founded, funded, and directed the Hardwick Rocks Music Festival—an immersive, multi-arts event featuring over 17 acts and more than 2,300 attendees, including a curated art wall showcasing local visual artists and a dedicated poetry lane. She continues to produce community-driven events that spotlight emerging and established talent, establishing herself as a respected leader in the New England music scene.

As a performer, Amanda is both captivating and disarming—playful, charismatic, and deeply connected to her audience. Often accompanying herself on a nylon-string classical guitar, her fingerstyle playing provides a rhythmic, organic foundation for her dynamic vocals. Whether commanding a stage or sharing a quiet moment, she acts as a conduit for the song, ensuring its story is felt as much as it is heard.

In addition to her original work, Amanda brings beloved music to life through soulful tributes to iconic songwriters including Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, Carole King, and Adele.

Amanda has released multiple singles and written hundreds of songs in her catalog. Her work has been featured as part of the official soundtrack to a book by Matt Herring, and her songwriting earned recognition with a win at Jam in the Van in Los Angeles. She has toured nationally from Los Angeles to Orlando and throughout New England, and has shared stages with artists such as G. E. Smith, Devin Lima, and Samantha Cole. She is currently working on her debut album, slated for release in 2027.

At the heart of Amanda’s work is a simple but powerful message: it doesn’t matter where you’ve come from—you can become who you want to be and create a life you’re proud of.

You’ll often find Amanda among the community, in listening rooms, on festival stages, and getting caught in the rain 🌧️
